Riding in the snow on horseback or in a horse-sledge, walking with snowshoes, sledging or even skiing: our accommodation in San Genesio/Jenesien is the ideal starting point for all winter sports lovers.

Also note that in winter horses play a main role in San Genesio/Jenesien, home of the famous breed called Haflinger. A great number of stables offer winter rides immersed in the beautiful winter wonderland landscape of Salto/Salten or if you prefer, rides on a coach, or riding classes.
The gentle landscape of Salto/Salten offers a great opportunity to take long walks with snowshoes. Walking or snowshoeing, it does not matter what you choose, you will in all cases have the chance to be kissed by the warm rays of the winter sun.
For those who cannot stay far from the slopes and the skis, we offer the perfect solution: the skibus will take you, free of charge, to the nearby skiing area of Merano 2000.
